About IAQP


We formed the Alliance because we believed that by sharing policy, information and training, we could strengthen the work of quality professionals embedded in any role in any organization. To foster the good practices in each industry in a specific region and elevate it on an international level, thus forming best practices that could be replicated in other regions as well.

INTERNATIONAL ALLIANCE OF QUALITY PROFESSIONALS

Founded in September 2004, IAQP is an interdisciplinary alliance that brings together organizations/professionals from various industries. The Alliance creates an ecosystem comprising of organizations held together by a common bond – quality and organizational excellence as the enabling force for businesses to survive and thrive.
 
The Alliance provides the global community with trainings and certifications to quality professionals, and knowledge sharing to its network of organizations and independent professionals.

Paul Hoyer is one of the founders of the International Alliance for Quality Professionals (IAQP). He has been serving as Chairman of the IAQP since 2009.

Paul is the Corporate REACH Specialist and HSE Coordinator at Teijin Aramid, the Netherlands. He is also a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), and a Life Member of Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO). He belongs to the Advisory Board of the Professional Knowledge Center of Excellence (PKCOE) in Iran.

From 2006 to 2008, Paul was part of the Technical Advisory Board of the 7th to 9th ICQM. He was also one of the members of the International Technical Committee of the 1st-3rd Annual Conference of MEQA in Dubai from 2007 – 2009.

Setup and implemented quality systems, conducted training/workshops/seminars in various fields including, business analysis, quality management, project management, software quality engineering, software quality assurance and software testing. She is often invited as a speaker for international and local quality & IT conferences. More than a decade of experience in technology-centric organizations, specialized in business process architecture and instill value-added initiatives that promote a quality culture in an organization.

Graduated Master in Information Management, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics major in Computer Science, earned a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence from the American Society for Quality; and obtained a Certified Quality Business Analyst (Fellow), Certified Software Quality Professional (Fellow) from the International Alliance of Quality Professionals.

Terence O’Keefe is a Project Manager working with various service and hardware companies to price bids, create budgets for proposed projects, and negotiate contracts. Some of the companies he have consulted for were: Signpost Films, Mosaic and EMI, Disney, Reemvision, and United Film Partners, just to name a few.

He also worked as a Project Manager at Service Intelligence for their largest account, the City of Anaheim, a $1.5 million dollar LAN Network utilizing IBM Token Ring topology and Novell 286 and 386 Netware. The LAN had 13 file servers, one mail server, and over 200 users in two buildings using 16-megabit cards, type 1 and fiber optic cabling. He reported directly to the City Council members for the city Anaheim and responsible for all facets of installation, such as helping design the network configuration and choosing the hardware. He coordinated with contractors and technicians to bring the project in on time and within budget.

He studied Bachelor of Science with degree in Public Communications at Northeastern University at Boston Massachusetts and Master’s Degree in Communications at Loyola Marymount University at Los Angeles, California.
